Stock Definition Worksheet

This topic contains the worksheet required to enter detailed information about each stock in your document and output management environment. You can list information for four different stocks. This information will allow you to most efficiently enter required information in the General tab and Details tab when you are creating a stock definition.

You must identify the stock as a Local or Global definition in the Usage field. When you copy and move a job between DocuVaults in the Enterprise Output Manager, the Local or Global parameter is used when the job references a stock definition common to both DocuVaults. The Global parameter instructs Cypress to use the stock definition stored at the destination DocuVault. The Local parameter instructs Cypress to use the stock definition stored at the source DocuVault.

You must enter stock dimensions in inches. If you use metrics, the A-series size in inches is provided. The default dimensions are 8.5 by 11.0 inches.
