Reporting Client Overview

Reporting Client enables you to retrieve information from the becubic repository and copy it to reports generated on demand, thus providing you with access to up-to-date information at all times. It can provide these data viewing features of becubic within a report:

Object properties

•

Number of objects in a query result

•

Cross-reference tables

•

Graphical representations of query results

•

Information about source code

•

Any type of repository information that can be retrieved by an XPath expression

Reporting Client generates reports based on templates that you create and edit with a specific report template editor—the Report Manager.

You define the report template on the basis of a model document in Microsoft Word, Excel, or HTML format, or a custom format table structure that you build within the Report Manager.

The reports can be displayed in the GUI or generated as files in the same format as the model document.
