Transformation Rules

Transformation rules are used to change the definition of the structure of data to be imported/exported.

This topic describes and provides examples of the syntax used in the XML file where you define the transformation rules. The examples within this topic specifically explain the CSV Import (that is, transforming grid data to becubic data).

The XML file must exist before you select Apply transformation of model in the Import Wizard dialog box or the Export Wizard dialog box (see Importing/Exporting Repository Data for examples and descriptions).
