Editing a User

You can modify these properties of an existing user:

Domain
Password
Associated role
Associated Welcome Panel
Within a domain configured for SSO authentication, users must be declared in the LDAP/CAS directory and you cannot change their passwords in becubic. becubic users are created automatically at each successful authentication.

To edit a user

1. In the left frame of the Administration page, expand Security Management and click Manage Users.
2. In the right frame, click the name of the user you want to edit (for example, My User). The Edit User window opens:
3. Optional. Change the domain name.
4. Click Next.
5. Optional. Change the user’s password and confirm the new password.
6. Click Next.
7. Optional. Change the role selection.
Within a domain configured for Single Sign-on (SSO) authentication, if LDAP/CAS groups are associated with becubic roles, all the roles for the LDAP/CAS groups to which an authenticated user belongs will be created and automatically associated with the user upon connecting.
8. Click Next.
9. Optional. Select a Welcome Panel.
10. Click Finish.
