Managing Domains

becubic is initialized with a Default Domain in which six default users are defined: guest, integration, QueryAsService, startupuser, superuser, and Survey. To define becubic users specific to your site, ASG recommends that you create your own domain.

Creating or editing a domain is the first step in administrating user and security management options. You must create a domain before creating users because they must be associated with existing domains. However, you can change the domain to which users belong by editing user definitions.

See Security Management Procedures, which will guide you through the procedures for performing the various user and security management tasks.

See Single Sign-on Settings, if you want to use the Single Sign-on (SSO) system to authenticate users who connect to your becubic repository. User login information defined and stored in an SSO directory can be used to connect directly to becubic, removing the need to create becubic users to connect to becubic repositories.
