Defining and Using Surveys

The survey feature is used to publish questions intended to obtain your audience’s feedback on your applications and integrate these opinions into the overall software quality assessment.

Surveys are taken on individual objects. The survey results are stored in the object attributes that you specify. For the APMApplication object type, there are the standard attributes available:

  • Business value
  • Costs
  • Enterprise adaptability
  • Operational availability
  • Operational scalability
  • Operational security
  • Response times
  • User experience
If you want the Survey Manager to take into account custom attributes, you must define them as Double or Float type attributes.

When a user answers a survey, becubic updates the average value of the corresponding attributes. See the topic Answering Surveys for information about answering a survey.

Standard queries and layouts are available to retrieve survey results, but you can also create your own dedicated queries and layouts.
