Model Description

This chapter provides information on the Application Discovery and Understanding (ADU) model of CAE. This unified structure of the repository contains the objects that are generated by the CAE providers. The repository model is essentially made up of object types and link definitions.

The descriptions in this chapter can help you to understand the meaning of each object in your repository, and to become familiar with the repository structure before creating or customizing queries.

The entire unified repository model is described. Every provider, however, does not make use of every object type and link definition of the model. As a result, some of the object types and links do not appear in the analysis results that populate your own CAE entry point.
