System Requirements
These are the system requirements for the Controller and Web Server components:
- Current vendor supported versions for the normal end of life of the following operating systems:
–
HP-UX (PA-RISC and Itanium) |
–
Linux (32-bit and 64-bit on Redhat ES, SUSE SLES, and Ubuntu) |
–
Linux on s390 (SUSE SLES) |
–
Linux on PowerPC Little Endian (Redhat on ppc64le) |
- Java Virtual Machine (JVM) requirements: Version 1.8 or higher is required. OpenJDK that has been TCK tested and certified by any Vendor is supported.
- Library requirements: If running with 32-bit binaries on a version of UNIX or Linux for a 64-bit operating system, the 32-bit compatibility libraries for glibc and pam are required.
ASG recommends that you use the latest version available for your platform. A 64-bit operating system and a 64-bit JVM is recommended.
- Controller requirements: The Controller runs natively on all systems that support the Web Server components.
- Firewall requirements: If a firewall is enabled, then ports will have to opened to allow web clients to access the web server and Zeke(s) to be able to connect to the Zeke web plugin.
Web Server Listener; the default is 7980. In the WEB section of the clientmgr/config/config.xml the parameter PORT="7980" defines the port the webserver listens on.
Zena Web Plugin Listener; the default range is 8100-8105. In the clientmgr/config/ris.properties file the parameters config.fport=8100 and config.lport=8105 defines the range of ports the Zeke Web Plugin can listen on.
