Packages List

The packages list displays a list of packages. The package dialog can be displayed for any item in the list by either double clicking on the item, or by selecting the item and selecting the Properties menu from the list menu or context menu.

Package list columns

Field

Description

Package Icon

Displays the package Icon in a color depicting the status of the package.

ID

ID of the package.

Status

Status of the package.

Source

Source environment where the package was created.

Name

Name given to the package.

Modified

Date the package was last modified.

Created

Date the package was initially created.

Create By

Name of the user who created the package.

Reference

An external reference that can be specified in the package definition.

UID

Package UID.

Package filtering

The following filter functionality is available in the header section of the list

Search Field Only package that match the text entered in the search box will be displayed in the list.

My Packages Checkbox

When checked, only packages created by the current user will be displayed in the list.

In Progress Checkbox

When checked, only open and rejected packages will be displayed.

Submit

Submits the package so that it can be imported from another scheduler. 

The details for all definition items in the package are added to the package when it is submitted.

Apply

The definitions in the package are inserted into the current scheduler.  Folder structure is duplicated or retained as part of the import. 

Before a package can be applied to the current scheduler, all validation errors must be resolved.

Reject

Rejects the current package.  From the source scheduler, this will change the status back to open.  From an external scheduler, this will change the status to rejected and update the status of the package on the source server to rejected.

Delete

Delete the package.

Import Packages

Displays the import package dialog where the user can select a scheduler and the package to import from that scheduler. See Importing a Package.
