Web Config

Web Config is a web application that helps you to configure and manage the communication links (herein called Connectors) between the Client Manager and the Schedulers. A Client Manager can connect to more than one Scheduler (AEO environment). Each of these Connectors are available for you to select in the Web Client login screen.

The configuration for these Connectors are stored in the servers.xml file. The Client Manager automatically updates servers.xml with a default Connector using the information provided during its installation. However, when upgrading the Client Manager from 3.2 to 4.0, use the Web Config to add an initial Connector to your Scheduler.

The servers.xml file is available in the environment where the Client Manager is running. The default path is C:\Program Files\ASG\AEO\ClientMgr\config.

To access Web Config

  1. Enter the Web address of the Web Config, in the http://<host name>:<web port>/webconfig/index.html format, into a Web browser. If the Web address is valid, the system prompts for the password.
  2. In this Web address:
The host name can be either the machine name or the IP address where the Client Manager is installed.
The web port is the Web Server Port you entered during the Client Manager installation.
Ensure that the web port is not blocked by the firewall installed in your system.
  1. Type the default password and click Login.
The default password for Web Config is AEO.
