Uninstall ASG-Studio

This section explains about how to uninstall ASG-Studio from your computer.

It is recommended to export your projects before uninstalling ASG-Studio so that you import and reuse them in a different version of ASG-Studio. You can also share the exported projects with your peers who are using ASG-Studio and want to continue working with your projects.

Perform the following steps:

  1. Open ASG-Studio Manager and click Stop.
  2. Click Advanced and verify that all the services are stopped.
  3. Close ASG-Studio Manager after all the services are stopped.
  4. Verify that ASG Bot Engine and ASG Studio Manager icons do not appear in your desktop system tray. If you still see the icons, right click each icon and click Exit. Alternatively, you can also stop these services form your Task Manager.
  5. Navigate to Control Panel, Programs and Features and Perform the following steps:
    1. Uninstall ASG RPA Bot Engine as follows:
      1. Select ASG RPA Bot Engine and click Uninstall.
      2. Click Yes, if the User Account Control (UAC) consent dialog appears.
      3. Click Uninstall in the Unattended Bot Engine or Attended Bot Engine installation wizard.
    2. Uninstall ASG STUDIO as follows:
      1. Select ASG STUDIO and click Uninstall.
      2. Click Yes, if the User Account Control (UAC) consent dialog appears.
      3. Click Uninstall in the STUDIO installation wizard.
  6. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86) and delete the following folders:
    • ASG RPA BotEngine
    • ASG STUDIO
  7. Navigate to C:\ and delete the Studio_Workspace folder.
  8. Restart your computer. If you try to reinstall ASG-Studio before restarting your computer, the installation will not be successful.

    9. ASG-Studio is uninstalled.
