Opening Item Types

To open select item types

1. Navigate to a view that contains the item type that you want to open. For example,
• Open an information model to which the item type is assigned. To know more, see Opening an information model.
• Display the structure of a model to which the type is assigned. To know more, see Displaying the model structure.
• Expand the nodes in the navigation tree to display the item type nodes.
To be able to open an item type, it must be assigned to an information model. To know more, see Adding Item Types.
2. Double-click the item type.

Or  

Select the type and then ModelOpen from the main menu.

Or  

Right-click the type and then select Open from the context menu.

The item types open in the Editor frame, and you can start to work on them. For more information, see Working on Item Types.
